I’m truly moved beyond words.
I am so humbled and amazed by this wonderful group of Warrior hockey players and their families. We here at the Westchester Warriors organization THANK all our teams, coaches, managers and their families for their hard work and determination to raise funds for such a great cause at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital whose goal is to make children healthy and happy by providing advanced lifesaving care. This season has been a bit challenging for all of us to surpass previous fundraising records but the players found creative ways to raise funds. From Tournaments allowing us to spread our message to create awareness, to Mother's Day flower sales outside of a rink, to a great tag sale, to a high school bake sale in support of one of our player’s favorite charity, to a great lemonade stands on a hockey net! Our community's collective response has provided a powerful and immediate support to a cause we all have our hearts set on.
THANK YOU to all our friends, family members, and the community for your generous donations which have made it possible for this incredible group to successfully raise $278,000 for pediatric cancer in three spring seasons.
